BIOGRAPHY

JAMES B. GLASCOCK
OWNER, PRESIDENT, ARCHITECT, PLANNER
James Glascock was born on an American military base in Stuttgart, Germany to Bob, a World War II
Veteran, and Yvette, a French war bride. He attended Granite High School in Salt Lake City, where he
met
and
married his high school sweetheart, Sandra. He has two daughters with her named, Erin and
Olivia. His youngest, Olivia Celine Glascock, is an amazing visual artist. Click Here to view her web site.
He graduated
Magna Cum Laude in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Geography
from the University
of Utah. He continued and received his Master's Degree of Architecture, graduating
in 1976, with emphasis in Design
and Structures. James was elected Mayor of the University Village also
while in college.
He has worked for a variety of large and small architecture firms. After graduating he worked for Delamare-
Woodruff Architects, Tom R. Zabriskie
Architects, and The Environmental Associates. Gaining enough
experience to begin a partnership and start his first architectural firm. In 1980, Glascock/McQuay Architects
was formed, and many
projects were produced under a staff of up to 12 people. In 1985 he founded James
B. Glascock
Architect P.C. James
is active in the local community. He has held positions on local boards,
and has donated
much of his time and earnings to charitable and religious projects.
